Christmas Party

Wow,

Can you believe that Christmas is here already? This year is just flying by. Anyway I wanted to let you know that our Christmas Party this year will be at or around 2:30 or 2:45. If you parents want to come, they are more than welcome.

I also hope that each of you have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. :)

4th Grade Program

Just to let you know, our 4th grade program will be next Thursday, November 13th at 7pm. We are so excited and have been working hard on our parts and our songs. I hope to see you all there!!

Brand New Year

Hello students and parents,

I am so excited that we have a brand new school year. Right now we are in our second week, and are still getting to know each other. We've started reading Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing in reading, and have practiced place value in Math. We are off to such a great start!!

McDonald's

Remember that we are going to McDonald's this Thursday at 11:30. Make sure you don't bring anymore than 6 dollars. After we eat we are going to the park for some well deserved fun and excitement. I can't wait for all the fun and good food.

7 Books

Remember to have your 7 books read by this Friday (March 28th).

Spring Break

Well spring break is here and we are so excited. You have 9 days off, and in that time I hope you have fun, play hard, and enjoy yourself. When you get back we have some more state testing, but everyone is doing so great I wouldn't worry one bit about it. When I say who's the best....I mean it. Anyway I hope you all have a great time, and remember to get those 7 books read so you can go on our McDonald's trip!!! Have a great SPRING BREAK!

State Testing

This week we start our state testing in 4th grade. My math class will test next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Get lots of sleep and eat a great breakfast. You guys will all do great!! I just know it.

Conferences

Hello parents,

Next Wednesday and Thursday is Parent Teacher Conferences, and I'm looking forward to talking about your studetnt and letting you know of their progress. In addition to these meetings, I wanted to make sure you knew about our math packets that have been sent home. The first packet is due on Monday the 11th, and the next packet will be due one week later. Thank you so much for taking the time to work with your students at home, I have talked to them, and it means a great deal to them.

Students: Don't forget that Friday the 8th is our 7 book party. Bring an electronic device and something to drink from home. We are going to have a wonderful desert party!!! Also don't forget that our Valentine's Day party is next Wed. We are going to have a great time!!!!

No School on Monday

I just wanted to remind everyone that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday the 21st. Teachers are having staff development that day. Enjoy your day off, and I'll see you on Tuesday.

Math Nite

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that Heusner is having a math night that will be next Thursday (Jan 17) from 6:30 to 8:00. Bring your family for a fun night of math, prizes, and games. You will have a blast, and learn something too!!! I hope to see you there.
